I've always thought it would be really interesting to be a storm chaser.
These people seemed to let the tornado come a little close for comfort before they cut and run.
Some of the stills they show are not tornadoes but thunderheads.

The Great Bell Chant: End of Suffering
Following my post wherein I feature a video disputing the omnibenevolence of the Christian deity (Yahweh) I have been asked what it is that I do believe.
At the crux of my belief system is the belief that all things are composed of energy. Energy cannot be destroyed, it can only change form. Thus, when asked if I believe in an afterlife, my answer is yes. The energy which powered the body does not cease to exist when the body dies. It takes on a new form. It is my belief that this energy generally finds a new body to inhabit. There is no set period of time in which it "must" do this.
Can we change the world on a spiritual level as well as a physical one?
I believe that chants, prayer, and spells are all forms of tapping into energy, of altering energy currents, of increasing energy. The form is not so important as the intent. One belief system's form of tapping into the energy is not superior to another belief system's way of doing so.
I have been accused of ridiculing Christianity. I repeat that I do not ridicule Christianity as a whole. I'm completely in favor of religious tolerance, and that includes not ridiculing other people's belief systems, whether or not I am inclined to belief the particulars of said system. But I do ridicule dogma and sanctimoniousness.
Let us raise the energy in favor of love, tolerance, and peace.

The Lost Books of the Bible: My Story
Hello friends. As a young girl, I was raised Catholic, and I was actually quite devout, although I was rather unconventional in my beliefs. This led me to be ostracized by some of the members of the church. In turn, this led me to question the organization to which I had so long been faithful, although not without question.
I eventually left the church and started studying the older religions. At this point I would call myself a Pagan, although I do take wisdom from other sources as well. I still study other tomes, including the Bible. However, the King James bible has had many chapters removed from it. This book that so many take literally has been abriged, primarily for political reasons.
I have a bible which contains the Lost Books. It makes for very fascinating reading. It is one of my favorite books.
I wish to share the videos from the History Channel, which talk of the Lost Books of the Bible. I hope you will enjoy them too.

Papal Knighthood Bestowed upon Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh
I have no problem with religion as long as there is tolerance. Since none of us know for sure the nature of the Divine, we need to learn to be open minded and treat each other with respect.

Hi, I'm Faycin

I'm just one tiny speck of dust in the Universe.
I'm trying to realize that every speck of dust deserves good things.
I don't like that some specks of dust think that it's okay to treat other specks of dust badly based on their physical appearance or mental problems.
I am mentally ill. I have bipolar disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. My OCD partially manifests as hoarding. I don't hoard animals, I hoard items. I have a private blog about my struggles with hoarding. I do not give the URL to just anybody. If I am ever able to get my place into passable shape, as I am struggling to do, I will publish the results as a book. My little camera takes great pictures but it's a battery hog. I need a backup battery and to see if there's some kind of charger for those little flat batteries.
I am fiftyish years old and most of my life has been a lot of pain and struggle. It shouldn't have to be this way. So if you are the kind of person who comes along and starts making it that way for me, fuck you, you are out. I don't have to put up with your shit. I've put up with way too much shit from way too many psychic vampires already.
I write stuff, both mental health and size acceptance related blog posts, and also fiction. I am a political and religious liberal. I don't like zealots of any kind, and that includes the type of atheist zealot who thinks it's okay to belittle others for having spiritual beliefs. I can accept where atheists are coming from, I just don't like the type who think they're superior for having no spiritual beliefs. Since none of us know for sure, then fuck you if you don't think I have the right to speculate. I don't go around forcing my esoteric agnosticism down your throat. Don't shove your fundamentalist Christianity, extremist Islam, or acerbic Atheism down mine. Or if you're one of those Satanists who is like "fuck you, I'm so cool because I'm a Satanist and you are so inferior," you can fuck off as well. You're nothing but a prat and I don't have the time to waste on you.
I'm also a KHEL 666 DJ. The pay is terrible but everything else about it is really cool.
Hope to have a few saying hello, but even if you don't, I'll keep doing this anyway.
XOXO,
Faycin
