Country musician Trace Adkins labels Kony 2012 Campaign a "Scam," calls fans "morons"

In a recent update on his Facebook page, Trace Adkins stated:

"I went back and looked at my tweets. On March 7, after being bombarded by Kony tweets, I posted, "Enough with the Kony bullshit." I was blasted for being insensitive. Well...Upon further investigation, I WAS RIGHT!!! IT IS BULLSHIT!!! Never question me again you morons."

Just because the charity (Invisible Children) is not spending its money in the ways deemed most effective by the BBB does not make it a scam. Mr. Adkins has every right to back whatever organizations he wishes and not back those that he doesn't agree with. However, I find calling his fans "morons" unnecessary. He could have stated his reasons why he does not wish to back this cause in a civil manner. He is a good performer but I am not terribly impressed with his actions at the moment. --Spectra

Below is the Kony 2012 video and a criticism of the Kony 2012 campaign as "misleading."

The creator of the second video provides this information and statement on her YouTube channel:

"Don't Wag the Dog"

Uganda's outrage over the Kony 2012 Video:

AFRICOM and InvisibleChildren:

"In response to Kony 2012 video made by InvisibleChildren, I do not think the LRA or Kony is good and I do not support them. I trust the 100 U.S. military troops already sent are doing their job to find Kony, whether he is dead or alive and do what needs to be done for the sake of Central Africa. I am just promoting the education one should do before they believe everything they see. The Kony 2012 Video is not the only information you should rely on. Research. I am all for the cause, just not the video that was made."

It's rather too bad that the Republican party uses the elephant as its symbol. Elephants are intelligent, peaceful creatures by nature. They should use the jellyfish instead. It hasn't got a brain and it's prone to inflicting nasty stings on anyone who gets too close.

The mother should be too--read the article. She agreed to this punishment. She's an elementary school teacher. Horrifying.

People of all ages can have problems with incontinence and there are various reasons. The jerk BF should be strung up by his heels.

Ignorant people! Bedwetting is not disobedience. There can be a psychological component but the problem is usually physical.

http://ping.fm/cnDJO "Tyra is beginning to age and it shows." Oh the humanity! How dare she--gasp--AGE NATURALLY!

http://ping.fm/fuMfy Britney Spears does not look "ugly" without makeup as some have said. She just looks tired. Probably is.

http://ping.fm/Bbphg Hate to say anything good about Kim Kardashian, but she actually looks better without makeup.

Even though Ghost Whisperer is sappy, I'd rather watch that any day than Fear Factor.

Fear Factor sucks balls. I hate this nasty ass show.

http://ping.fm/Lx8s4 how are you doing in hell?

Guy sitting at one computer cussing and grimacing. Another receiving cell calls with the country music ring tone every 3-5 minutes.

You'd not think that going to the library would be that interesting an experience. But trust me, it is more interesting than it should be!
