Gus Pappas: Dig Higgs Boson

Cool music apparently celebrating the funky, funky properties of the Higgs Boson Particle Accelerator.
I'm honestly not sure about the purpose of the video, but the music is pretty groovy.

Metalworking Question

Can any of you crafty types assist this young fellow in finishing his project?

We can't even walk and chew gum at the same time, but we figured we'd put it out there for those of you adept at metalworking and the like.

Justin Timberlake: Pair of Wings

If I had a pair of wings
I'd pick you and fly you far away form here
And you'd put your worries upon my shoulders, my dear
Now I know I can't save you
From the troubles of the world
And this sounds like such a silly thing
But if I could fly you away
With a big old pair of wings

And if I had a pair of wings
I'd pick you and fly you far away form here
And we'd fly so high up in the sky
Where the stars are so clear
And then I could save you
From the troubles of the world
And all you'd have to pack is your heart to bring
And there we are, you and me
Flying on a big ol' pair of wings

We keep getting older, the world keeps getting colder
Tell me when did we lose our way?
It's so hard not to lose your mind in such crazy days
And if I had one wish I know what I'd wish for
There's only one thing that'll do
I'll fly away on this pair of wings with you
If I had a pair of wings
I'd scoop you up we'd fly away and disappear
And you could put your worries upon my shoulders, my dear
Now I know I can't save you
From the troubles of the world
And this sounds like such a silly thing
But if I could fly you away
On a big old pair of wings

And if I had a pair of wings
I'd pick you and fly you far away form here
And I could stay right by your side and keep you so near
And then I could save you form the troubles of the world
And all you'd have to pack is your heart to bring
And there we are, you and me
Flying on a big ol' pair of wings

We keep getting older, the world keeps getting colder
Tell me when did we lose our way?
It's so hard not to lose your mind in such crazy days
And if I had one wish I know what I'd wish for
There's only one thing that'll do
I'll fly away on this pair of wings with you
If I had one wish I know what I'd wish for
There's only one thing that'll do
I'd fly away on this pair of wings with you
I said if I had one wish I know what I'd wish for
There's only one thing that'll do
I'd fly away on this pair of wings with you

A Bit of Stoopid Fun

And you think WE'RE nuts? Take a look at this craziness! This person is what we are aspiring to be!

Caedmon's Call: Manner and Means

The heart is a lonely thing to lose in the dead of night
The heart is a sad thing to lose in the throws of a fight
The heart is the match to the fire
And the embers of desire, to keep it burning

I am a shell of the manner and the means
Mine is a story of nothing as it seems
But when we have come this far
And still don't know who we are, does it keep burning?

When it's over, and you see it with your eyes
Would you rather have the truth or a lie?

I call for angels to breathe holy on this rust
I call the snakes to come out slowly from the brush
I need a massive overhaul
A revival to fall, to keep it burning

The heart is a costly thing to sell in the prime of the years
And my heart is thinly veiled in the usual fears
The heart is the dream, and the kiss
That there could be more than this, to keep it burning
