Confessions of my Middle Eastern Sympathies
And now that I've given my post a provocative title, I'll give the particulars.
I confess that I really like the sound of the above song. I like it for the same reason that I like music from India. It takes me to another place. Because of where I come from in the world, it sounds exotic and mystical. I've always loved this kind of music.
I confess that I find people who hate all Arabs/Muslims to be asshats not worthy of my time.
I'm not a Muslim. I don't resonate with the entire message of this song, because I'm not a monotheist. But I know that this message resonates with some souls. As long as we all treat each other with respect with regards to our spiritual beliefs, how is that not okay?
If you don't believe that this ass clown represents all Christians
I've chosen my confession, and now I will return to listening to Middle Eastern music.

Whatever You Have To Do To Survive

I get so pissed at people who get on their high horse and say "dissociative identity disorder doesn't exist, these people are just attention seekers."
These types also say things like "bipolar disorder is the diagnosis du jour" and "Asperger's syndrome is a copout for being antisocial."
They probably also believe that all fat people are lazy slobs who sit around shoveling bucket after bucket of KFC into their cavernous maws while watching reality TV.
Everybody is just trying to get by. Nasty, judgmental people do not make the hard life that most of lead any easier.

Reject the Label
Check out Slingshot Dakota – Michael Jordan Saved My Life http://www.last.fm/music/Slingshot+Dakota/_/Michael+Jordan+Saved+My+Life via @lastfm
I don't believe in labels, and I don't believe in hating something just because it's different from the way I do things. It's "trendy" to hate on "Emos." Screw that. I judge a person by who they are, not by what they wear or the music they listen to. Plus, I've met some very nice "Emos."
It's all good.

And truth be told, I can relate to this.

Bullies
I am tired of bullies ruining other people's lives.
The ugliest thing is being a sanctimonious, judgmental, bullying prat. Hateful people who are seeking a scapegoat need to look inside themselves and see why their hearts are so empty of basic decency.
Bullying fat people is not "for their health." It is done to fill an emptiness in the bully. They feel the need to make themselves feel superior to someone else.
Before you point the finger at someone else's shortcomings, take a good look at yourself.
