Candlemass: The Curse of Candlemass

I featured this video in a post at Encyclopedia Netherworld and figured I'd best share it here too, or there would be hell to pay!

D is for Doom Metal

Doom is one of my favorite metal sub-genres. It has a slow, heavy, melodic sound and favors dark and mystical subject matter. The roots of doom metal can be traced to the early 1970's. The genre is heavily influenced by the works of Black Sabbath.

Featured above is an iconic video from one of my favorite bands, Candlemass; the Swedish kings of Doom Metal.

If you're like me and can't get enough Candlemass, I've got another video for you at the end of this post!
