The assassination of Rajiv Gandhi was the result of a suicide bombing in Sriperumbudur, in Tamil Nadu, India on 21 May 1991.
The assassination was caught on film by a local photographer, who was also killed in the blast.

The crazy thing is, as I was driving this morning I was thinking how forgiving people who are in upside down mortgages or high interest mortgages their debt might very well boost the economy. I'm no economist but I know so many people who are really struggling. I don't currently have a mortgage but a lot of my friends and family are in a tight spot. This might well be one way to stimulate the economy. It's something to think about.

Can I be honest? Sure I can, it's my blog! I do not like One Percent Mitt and his arrogant attitude towards the "little people." I will not be voting for him. I haven't been 100% thrilled with Obama's performance, but I'd far rather have him back than to have Mittens in.
Fix the damn rail system in the U.S. It could be so useful. Semi trailers can be piggybacked to city centers, avoiding the costs of having to do so much long haul trucking. At this point, a person cannot take the railway direct from Denver to Tucson. They have to take a bus from Denver to Raton, then get the train in Raton, take the train to Phoenix, then take another bus to Tucson. Ridiculous! Let's make our railways as useful as they can be. It will create jobs and reduce carbon footprint.
