Citizens of Our Diverse World: Ray Collins

Australian Ray Collins is a former coal miner turned photographer. Granted, his work is beautiful, but what makes it all the more fascinating is the fact that he's color blind.
Ray is a living embodiment of the truth that one should not allow other people's perceptions of their challenges to stop them from pursuing their goals. Surely there were people who told him that a person who is color blind couldn't be a photographer.
Looking at his work, one sees that his different way of seeing in no way stops him from taking amazing photographs.
A person can learn to work with his or her challenges. It is a shame that we don't support each other more often to do so.

Stupid Girl

Check out Neil Young & Crazy Horse – Stupid Girl http://www.last.fm/music/Neil+Young+&+Crazy+Horse/_/Stupid+Girl via @lastfm

I can think of three bands off the top of my head who have made a song called "Stupid Girl." This, of course, is the Neil Young/Crazy Horse version. The Rolling Stones also made a song with this title, as did Garbage. They are three very different tunes.

I can't think of all the people who have covered "Mad World" or "Louie, Louie." Those are the two most covered songs that I can think of.

Wolf Girl has things covered! She's written an essay about the most covered songs.

I'm not making fun of people with hypertrichosis, also known as the Werewolf Disease. This was simply an interesting picture that I found.
