Netherworld Cinema: He Was Cool

I must be a little touched in the head, but I thought it would be fun to watch this Korean video with Spanish subtitles before I go to bed for the day, and challenge myself to see if I can remember the six years of Spanish I took through junior high and high school. It was many, many years ago.
I had a teacher who believed that one of the best ways to learn a language was to watch films or television programs in that language. I doubt I'll end up learning much Korean because I can't read their alphabet, but I actually did end up learning a little Korean watching King of High School while reading the English subtitles.
We here at KHEL 666 are unanimous in our agreement that South Korea is creating some very fine entertainment at this time. We love our K-Pop and the Korean-made film and television that we have been able to find.
Exploring media from different cultures also helps end prejudice, in my opinion. When one finds out more about other cultures, one comes to realize that at the core, we all want the same thing: happiness. Hate and mistrust can never manifest happiness. Only love and understanding can do so.
If you're crazy like me, you might enjoy this little cross-cultural exercise too.

Here is the movie with English subtitles, if you prefer.

A to Z Blogging Challenge: U is for Understanding

A to Z Blogging Challenge:
U is for Understanding

Am I crazy for saying that music is the bridge to understanding between cultures?
There is great animosity between the Middle East and the West at this point.
I think that music will help to eventually bridge the gap between us.
This belief is a holdover from my younger days when I believed in nothing so much as peace, love, and music.

Dancing Around the World

This guy goes all around the world and gets people to dance with him in various different situations. Which is really pretty cool. Music and dance are great tools to bridge cultural gaps!
