He Say, She Say, But What Does God Say?

Powerful vocals and a humorous script combine in the musical by David E. Talbert. If you like your stories without a lot of nudity and harsh language--or scenes like the one I shared last night--you may enjoy this feel-good, song-filled story.

The One Who Waits for Me by Lori Copeland

Lori Copeland is a Christian romance author. Even though I'm sort of a mystic/metaphysical agnostic, I don't mind stories with religious overtones as long as they aren't too heavy-handed. This novel, while written by someone for whom religion is a major aspect of her life, is more focused on the story than on attempting to make others believe as the writer does. The author develops her characters with love for each of them, and has created a beautifully written historical romance.
If you enjoy romance novels, particularly historical romance, and won't be disappointed if the story doesn't have any explicit sex scenes, you might enjoy Ms. Copeland's works.

Demon Hunter: Undying

Why is that freak of nature Ke$ha's horrific visage posted alongside this cool (Christian) metal video? How dare they! She looks like a feckin' zombie!

I know a lot of people think that Christian and metal don't go together, but if that's what floats their boat, I'm cool with it. They do have a very good sound.

What I don't like about Ke$ha and her ilk is the fact that she is just a spectacle. No actual talent, just flash and shock value. Ho hum.

Rain Down

Check out Delirious? – Rain Down http://www.last.fm/music/Delirious%3F/_/Rain+Down via @lastfm

This is a really pretty song. Definitely a favorite in the spiritual genre.
