Lejemea - Dja Bu Tocam

Never having been to Portugal, videos like this lead me to believe that the men all walk around singing and the women express themselves by twerking.
Admissibly, it's a beautiful song, and they all seem very happy.

Lippe Monteiro - Kuzé Ki Dja Bu Dan

A lively tune, and a video featuring a great deal of twerking.
I believe the artist is from Portugal.

A to Z Blogging Challenge: S is for Sad Songs

A to Z Blogging Challenge:
S is for Sad Songs
by
DJ Tempest

Sad songs: pretty much without exception we've all hummed them. We've sung them in the shower as tears ran down our face (well, at least I have.) We've belted 'em out while driving along a back road, half thinking of running over the one who made us feel this way and half wishing we could be back with them no matter how horrible they were to us.
This song by Portuguese musician David Fonseca is the quintessential sad song. He sings about wasting love on someone who can't love him back, advises himself not to waste his tears. And yet it can't be helped. The song must be sung--sometimes many times over--before the healing can begin.

If you must sing a sad song, may it help you heal.

Peace,
