Stay With Me Tonight

A gorgeous, bluesy power ballad from Quiet Riot.

Music from a time before the world became an obviously dystopian hellscape.

Maybe it was too good to last.

They don't write 'em like this anymore.

Slick Black Cadillac

Another underrated gem from Quiet Riot.

It's a shame, but I don't think that Kevin Dubrow was a very happy person at the time of his death. I met him at a meet and greet once, and it just seemed like the spark had died and he wasn't happy with the way things had turned out. By then, the band was pegged as a nostalgia act, which is demeaning. They still had a lot to offer. I'm sorry things turned out that way, Kevin. You deserved better.

Twilight Hotel

A clever video from Quiet Riot. It's a shame they were really only known for Bang Your Head and, to a lesser degree, their cover of Cum On Feel Tha Noize.

Heaven - Rock School (1983)

Mercy Mercy (Remastered 2002)

This song--I need it!

This version of this song is about the same age as me. Some things only get better with age.

Flash And The Pan - Waiting For a train (9 minutes) 1982

George Young and Harry Vanda were amazing musicians. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Rest in peace, George.
